Where culture and tradition merge with art and design, we are introduced to Amani Al-Thuwaini, one of Altujjar’s most talented emerging business leaders.
Amani Al-Thuwaini studied Architecture at Kuwait University and later specialized in Fine Arts, completing her master’s degree at Goldsmiths, University of London. From a young age, she expressed her creativity through visual art, developing a deep passion for drawing. Her artistic sensibility was influenced by Soviet-era fairy tales, often rich with intricate illustrations and themes of love and human connection.
Amani is the daughter of a Ukrainian mother and a Kuwaiti father. She spent her early childhood in Ukraine before moving to Kuwait, an experience that shaped her identity and creative perspective. The fusion of both cultures is reflected in her work, where Eastern European and Kuwaiti influences come together through art and design.
